Workforce Case Management
Carson City Human Services Division has a Workforce Program that can assist individuals that have barriers preventing them from employment. Such barriers may include but are not limited to interview skills, job searching, resume’ assistance, etc.
The Community Block Grant fund the CCHHS Workforce Program. Individualized goal planning and case management support contribute to the success participants have with obtaining and keeping jobs. Opportunities to increase job skills through training and certifications are explored and encouraged. A combination of the Workforce Strategies classes, community partnerships, one on one case management support, and consistent job fairs give residents the tools needed to succeed.

All are welcome to participate!
CCHHS takes the lead in providing job fairs to the community twice a year, one in February and one in September. Employer participation continues to increase with each fair.
