General Election is November 3, 2020

Polls open on Election Day 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, October 17, 2020 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Monday - Friday, October 19 - 23, 2020 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 24, 2020 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Monday - Friday, October 26 - 30, 2020 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Below is a list of all Mail Ballots received by the Clerk's office. Please note signature verification happens the following day after a ballot has been received. If you have any questions please contact our office at 775-887-2087.

Carson City Mail Ballots Received 10/13/2020

 

  • Pursuant to the passage of  AB 4 (32nd (2020) Special Session), all active registered voters in Carson City will receive a mail ballot for the November 3, 2020, General Election.  

  • If you do not wish to vote your mail ballot, you may appear at a polling location to surrender your mail ballot and to vote in person using a touch screen voting machine.  

  • Out of state mail ballots will be mailed no later than September 24, 2020 (NRS 293.309(b)).

  • In state mail ballots will be mailed no later than October 14, 2020 (NRS 293.309(a)).

  • If you need to request a replacement mail ballot or do not receive your mail ballot, please contact our office at (775)887-2087.
