Environmental Health Complaints

PLEASE NOTE BEFORE CONTINUING: 

Our office only covers complaints for locations in; Carson  County (Cities: Carson City) and Douglas County (Cities: Minden, Gardnerville, Stateline, Southlake Tahoe, Genoa, Zephyr Cove, Indian Hills, etc. All Cities in Douglas County).

You may also call in the complaint as well to our office at 775-887-2190. Please specify to the front desk whether you have a complaint regarding illness or a complaint regarding anything else.

If your complaint is regarding illness, you will be transferred to our Epidemiology team. Once they have taken the necessary information, your complaint will be forwarded to our team of health inspectors. You can also submit an illness complaint through their form HERE.

Public Records Requests

Public records are available from our office for Septic/Well Records and Inspection Reports.

In order to be able to assist with a public record request, we must have the form attached in the link below submitted to us at eh@carson.org.

Please allow staff to respond within 24-48 hours for your request. If multiple addresses are requested, this could be extended to 48-72 hours.

*IMPORTANT* Not all requests can be fulfilled as not all information is available for every property in Carson City County. Submitting a record request does not guarantee that we have records on file. We appreciate your understanding.
