The festivities begin at the State Capitol:

5:30 pm	Carson City 5th Grade Music Students Singing Ensemble starts to sing. Hot chocolate and coffee at the corner of Carson and Musser Streets, by the Elks Club.
	Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive in a 1927 Seagrave fire engine. They will give out candy canes.
5:45 pm	Tree Lighting; all of Carson Street is lit up.
5:55 pm	Remarks by Carson City Mayor Bob Crowell.
6:00 pm	Procession: Follow the fire engine in a Candlelight Procession* to the City Tree at Musser & Nevada Streets (First Presbyterian Church). Carols.
6:15 pm	City Tree Lighting by Mayor Crowell.
6:30 pm	Procession: Follow Santa & Mrs. Claus from 1st Presbyterian Church, east on Musser to Carson Street, along Carson Street to Telegraph, west on Telegraph into the Square.

Come to Telegraph Square. The merchants will be holding Open House with snacks and treats. Enjoy the restaurants, too. Enjoy the musical stylings of Joseph Greco and Scott Killion as The Tributes.

Telegraph Square activities include: Santa & Mrs. Claus, face painting, clown, bounce house (see below) and manned by the US Navy, Cactus Jack's HOWDY, life-sized willow reindeer - Parents, bring your camera for a life-time of memories.

The Chamber's Young Business Professionals (YBP) will be hosting the annual Chamber Christmas Party on the back patio at High Sierra Brewing Company (heaters will be ON). Bring a can of food to donate and enjoy hot cocoa and cookies. Buy raffle tickets for great prizes. Mayor Bob Crowell will be on hand for the festivities, too.

After that, stop in at the Arlington Square ice skating rink (Carson and Robinson Streets) for their Grand Opening of the season. Take a whirl on the ice for a special price (only $4 for skate rental and skate pass). There will be a special Firgure Skate Performance - time is TBA. Refreshments by the Downtown Business Association.
