Public Workshop - Title 7 (Animals)

Carson City Health and Human Services is conducting a public workshop for comments on proposed changes to Carson City Municipal Code Title 7 ANIMALS. The first reading of proposed changes occurred during the November 1st 2012 Board of Supervisors meeting. At that time there was a lot of discussion on the proposed changes and whether or not Carson City should allow under any circumstances except for licensed kennels, the keeping of more than three dogs.
A public meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 12th from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Community Center Sierra Room to receive comments from the public in regards to Title 7 changes. If you are unable to attend the workshop but would like to comment, please call Gail Radtke at 887-2171 or email your comment to: gradtke@carson.org.
