Walking Tour of Landscape and Aesthetic Treatments
The public is cordially invited to the Carson City Freeway Landscaping Project’s Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Walking Tour on Friday, April 19.
Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
Time: 3:00 p.m.
Location: Northgate Lane Grade Separation at the 3700 Block of Northgate Lane
Walking Tour
Time: 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: Northgate Lane Grade Separation at the 3700 Block of Northgate Lane
The 1.75 mile walking tour will take place after the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on the Freeway’s multi-use path from the Northgate Lane Grade Separation to the Carson City Boys and Girls Clubhouse on Northridge Drive.
This tour will provide the public with an opportunity to view and learn about the various landscape and aesthetic treatments along the multi-use path. Restrooms will be available at the Boys and Girls Clubhouse after the walk. Vans will be provided to transport walkers back to the Northgate Lane Grade Separation.
