Come Join Us! National Day of Service is a national volunteer day. Carson City Parks, Recreation & Open Space, invites you to come out and participate in a community clean-up at East Silver Saddle Ranch, located on Sierra Vista Lane (parking lot located 1 mile after turning off of Carson River Rd. on to Sierra Vista Ln. on the right hand side of road.) 

East Silver Saddle Ranch is one of our many beautiful open spaces, heavily used by the public. We are currently working on re-vamping this area. Join us for an hour to learn more about our efforts to help make this area more family friendly and participate in a short clean-up along the river. 

Please bring comfortable clothes and shoes to walk in, bug spray and snacks. This event is an hour long and participants will be walking on sandy and gravel pathways. There is a port-a-potty located at the East Silver Saddle Ranch parking lot. 

We will provide trash bags, litter grabbers and extra water.
