Hotel & Motel
Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) conducts inspections on licensed hotels and motels which provide accommodations to the transient public. These establishments shall have a health permit as required by Carson City Municipal Code before beginning any operation, and shall be inspected on an annual basis in accordance with Nevada Revised Statues 447 and Nevada Administrative Code 447.
Public accommodations that offer continental breakfast or bed and breakfast are required to have a separate health permit and shall abide by regulations for food entities. Please click here for those requirements and more information.

Bed bugs have not been shown to be a vector of disease and are viewed as a nuisance issue. Please submit a complaint and contact Carson City Code Enforcement with these issues.
