IBD Artist Information

The 2024 Tahoe Tattoo Convention is on it's way!

Are you a tattoo artist planning on tattooing at the event?

Are you a piercer planning on completing procedures at the event?

Read below for step by step process you will need to complete with our office in order to attend the event.

(The steps below are needed by our office only, for further directions to attending the event, please contact David, the event coordinator, at: tahoetattooshow@gmail.com)

Step 1: Complete the Invasive Body Decoration Temporary Event Health Permit Application. Save this to your desktop and follow the next steps. (The only version of the application that is acceptable is the one linked above.)

Step 2: Along with the application, please collect copies of your Blood Borne Pathogen Certificates for each artist attending in PDF, JPEG or PNG and prepare your application to be sent.

*NOTE* We understand that BBP's expire one year after taking the course. If you take the course before sending the documents to us, it will still be valid once the Tahoe Tattoo Event comes next year. Expired certificates will not be accepted. *

Step 3: Send the BBP's and the completed Temporary Event Application to our email: eh@carson.org.

Step 4: You will receive a response from one of our office staff. The staff member will then send your invoice/amount due based off of your application.

Step 5: Make a payment HERE for your total amount due. There is a small 2% fee added by the NCR program.

Step 6: Once your payment and application have been received you are good to go from our office for the event. The day of the event you will receive an inspection from one of our health inspectors who will then hand you your Health Permit. Have a great event!
